Wow what a wonderful day! Holly & Stuart were such a lovely couple to work with and gorgeous too! St Mary’s Church was magnificent inside, with plenty of light and a great balcony for the all important walking down the aisle shot. Worthing golf club is a great venue for a reception with plenty of stunning backdrops for photos and the staff are really friendly too. I had the help of my great friend and fellow photographer Kelly Green of Lola Rose Photography again and together we managed a fair few pics! Here’s some of my personal favourites from their very special day…

All the best for the future Holly & Stuart! xx
What a wonderful day! The weather was kind to us, the venue The Burlington Hotel was superb (so much light!) and Natalie & Sarah both looked gorgeous in their beautiful matching burgandy & white dresses. I was heavily pregnant so had hired a 2nd photographer, the very talented Kelly of Lola Rose Photography, to help me out on the big day. We both thouroughly enjoyed ourselves with Natalie & Sarah and their lovely, friendly, fun-loving families and friends and we managed to capture over 600 photos between us! Poor Natalie and Sarah are having a job to chose which ones they want in the album but they are over the moon with the results – which is always a plus! Here are some of my favourites I took on the day…

Stacey and Mark are getting married later this year in St Mary’s Church Felpham then onto Bognor Regis Golf Club for the reception. They told me they were dreading the pre wedding shoot as they really dislike having their picture taken and they forced themselves to do it!! By the end I think they may have actually enjoyed it just a little bit… ! Getting couples to relax in front of the camera is something I pride myself on & they loved the photos – mission accomplished! Here are some of my favourites… don’t you just love gorgeous little Daisy dog!

Can you tell they are big fans of black and white?! Me too!!

A couple of weekends ago I met with Charley and Dave to photograph their three gorgeous fur-babies, Drum, Neva and Paddy at West Wittering beach near Chichester. They are all rescue hounds, Drum an ex-racer from the Portsmouth track, Neva from Ireland and Paddy who was from an unwanted litter. They have all really landed on their paws with Charley and Dave, such a happy pack! Paddy is so funny, a real character! Neva is a diva, a beauty queen who loves to lean! Drum is fast and stunningly gorgeous with his shiny blue coat and sparkling amber eyes. I had so much fun photographing them and because dogs don’t always understand what is wanted I appreciate the help and patience from Charley and Dave to get the shots in amongst the stacks and the family group ones!
Here are some my favs. (Click on each picture to see it larger…)

Mari wanted to have a family photo shoot to include her gorgeous little son, her grandparents and her mum (who I used to work with years ago – small world!) and her brother who now live in Spain. She bought a voucher for her grandma’s birthday present and waited till her mum & brother were next over in the UK and we arranged it one (very!) sunny April afternoon in her grandparents’ back garden, so they didn’t have to go too far. Poor Mari is still undecided as to which ones to order but luckily there’s no hard sale with me, you can take your time to pick your photos! Here are some of my favourites …

Michael and Emma have been together for 2 years and wanted some nice photos of the two of them together to celebrate this. Their first date was in Arundel so what better location than to come back there for a portrait session?! We had a great morning, starting off in Arundel Park where it’s nice and quiet they could get used to me and the camera (you see, I’m so kind!) then we drove down to the town to get some shots of them with the castle in the background and finally onto Swanbourne Lake for a few more photos and an ice cream! I had such a lovely morning - thanks guys! Maybe you’ll hire me again in the future for something?! x (Hope so!)

Shelley first came accross my website after reading a little article about me in the Your Sussex Wedding magazine. She liked my work and we arranged to meet up – this is when her husband-to-be said wait a sec, I know her! Years ago I went to school with a lot of Franco’s friends and their wedding will prove to be a bit of a crazy reunion I think! Really looking forward to it – lots of gorgeous bridesmaids, a big red London bus, a delightful barn, a very dapper groom and of course the beautiful bride! Here’s a few from their pre wedding shoot in and around Little Bognor and Slindon Church…

Last year when I asked my nieces what they wanted for their birthdays which fall quite close together they both said they would like a photo shoot with Auntie Nicki! I was very flattered and more than happy to oblige but it’s taken us almost a year to get round to it! Of course we had to take along their gorgeous little Spaniel Flo as well – bless her hyperactivity-ness! I can hardly believe how grown up and beautiful my nieces have become, I still remember them as cute little bundles of newborn joy! Ah now I feel old!! Here are some of my favs… thanks for a great shoot girls – such good fun xx

I met up with Holly and Stuart a couple of weekends ago for their pre wedding shoot. We went to Highdown Gardens near Worthing which I’ve never visited before but I will definitely be back. What a beautiful location for photos! (Thank you so much for chosing that spot guys!) They are such a fun loving and in-love couple, a real pleasure to work with. Loving Holly’s amazing eyes too! Can’t wait for the big day in June …

Mel and Shroom were a real pleasure to work with, we had so much fun but their story started out as a very sad one. They got married in April 2009 but their photographer failed to turn up! When someone eventually rang him to see where he was, he had simply forgotton! He got there late, having missed the actual ceremony, then took (in my and the couple’s opinion) some pretty awful photos. I won’t name and shame in public as it’s not my battle to fight but if anyone wants to know who not to hire for their wedding they can ask me privately! Mel and Shroom were quite understandably distraught about the whole thing and it took Mel a lot of courage to have her photo taken again. A year to be exact – the shoot with me was booked for their 1st wedding anniversary.
To begin with Mel just wanted some nice photos at home of her in her wedding dress. No problem … but I thought what a great opportunity to do a “trash the dress” session at the same time. Mel wasn’t too sure at first but soon came round to the idea as they had had a 2nd wedding in Vegas with a 2nd dress that she decided she could wear out and about and dress it down (or funk it up!) with some purple socks, black lace up boots and a leather jacket – and boy did she look amazing! Shroom is totally rock and roll too so together they looked awsome and I did my best to capture their personalities and edit the photos to compliment their unique style.
They were nervous at first and Shroom admitted to not really liking having his photo taken either but 5 minutes later in Marine Park Gardens and along the sea front they relaxed into it and looked like real stars! We had a few on lookers too! Not suprising when the no longer blushing bride was in the sea and the water fountain splashing about in her dress and boots!
I was so pleased with the results because they meant so much to Mel and Shroom and I was over the moon that after they couldn’t pick their favourites, they were able to buy the CD from me with them ALL on! Mel said it had more than made up for the lack of photos from their actual wedding day and had restored her self confidence that she had lost.
Guys – you are just such a wonderful couple and Mel when I need a model to pose for me please can I give you a ring, you really are gorgeous and a total natural!
Here are some of my favourites…. enjoy
